When it searches, ChatGPT pulls answers from pages it can read cleanly and trust, then cites them. In five buyer questions asked on September 25, 2026, it favored companies with a published price, a clear page for the exact service asked about, and a Google profile. Asked about a company by name, it wanted to see recent work, a written scope, references and who owns the site.
On September 25, 2026 I asked ChatGPT five questions a buyer of website work would ask, each in a fresh logged-out chat. The companies it named had things in common:
- A page for the exact service. An “AI search optimization” page won the AI search question. A “WordPress care plan” page won the WordPress security question.
- A published price. The cost question went to companies that list starting prices, and the national “best” answer went to a company with a published monthly plan.
- A Google profile for local questions. The map card came first.
Socializemy wasn’t named in any of the five. This site is the fix, built on what the check showed.
